Oaklee's Odyssey

Once upon an odyssey, there was a seven year old girl named Oaklee. She liked adventure, riddles, and excitement. She had lots of friends, but her best friend was an eight year old boy named Ethan. Oaklee and Ethan had the best times together. Oaklee and Ethan's favorite past time together was the odyssey they had.

It all started on a hot summer day. Oaklee was piking flowers for her mother when she came across a secret entrance. She went to find Ethan to show him the secret entrance. When Oaklee had shown Ethan the secret entrance, he jumped in! Oaklee jumped in after him, hoping she could find him before he got hurt.

When Oaklee found Ethan, he was looking up into the air. When Oaklee looked up to see what Ethan was looking at, she saw what seemed to be a flight of stairs that lead to the surface. Sadie and Ethan climbed the staircase and when they reached the top, they were on the surface again. But, they weren't home; they were inside a battle field.

As soon as they found the nearest sign of civilization, Ethan was given weapons and armor. Oaklee was given sewing supplies and a basket for carrying laundry.

Ethan was sent to the other side of the battlefield where there was a fortress with white and black banners. Oaklee was sent to a log cabin with a ginormous basement full of sewing machines.

Four hours later, Ethan came back with a big bruised shoulder, a ripped pant leg, and a slash across his left arm. Oaklee asked Ethan what happened, and Ethan said that he was to attack an enemy base but couldn't get in because of defenses the enemies had. Oaklee said, "First thing tomorrow, we are going to get home as fast as possible." "Okay," Ethan agreed, "but how are we going to get out of here?" "Back the way we came from," Oaklee said.

The next morning, Oaklee collected as much food as they needed for the trip home. Ethan brought rope and plenty of weapons to defend themselves. "What's the rope for?" Oaklee asked Ethan. Ethan said, "We fell down a hole, right?" "Right," Oaklee said. "So why don't we try to use the rope to get out?" Ethan said. "That sounds like a great idea," Oaklee agreed.

Oaklee and Ethan ran to the flight of stairs, ran down them, found the hole they fell through, threw the rope as high as they could, and then started climbing. As soon as the soldiers found out they were missing, they went after them. Oaklee and Ethan started to climb faster and faster until they reached the surface again. Finally, they found a big stone to cover up the hole.

Oaklee and Ethan celebrated. And then their mother came out and said, "Time for dinner!"

The end.

The Snake and the Mouse

Once upon a time, there was a mouse and snake. The mouse stole from everyone and got away because it was so fast. The snake was slow, but won many races.

So one day, the snake and the mouse were going to have a race to see who was faster. The mouse ran ahead of the snake, and the mouse was so far ahead; it found a tree and took a nap.

The snake came and slithered ahead of the mouse, and the snake was so quiet that it won the race. The mouse woke up hearing them cheering for the snake. So the mouse went to see why everyone was cheering, and he saw that the snake won the race.

The end.
